If you shall excuse me… I have a bunch of apples to deal with! Friend of midsized boy came by with his mum, so the three of them went off for the afternoon! Wee girlie was dispatched to nap… withoutadiaperthankyouverymuch!
Lets hope I don’t have laundry when she wakes up!

Spent a totally enjoyable evening watching two bottles of ‘grape juice’ get emptied. I’d like to say I helped, but I didn’t. I had a few sips of each bottle and that was about it for me. Such a cheap date am I!
Tomorrow involves dress rehearsal for biggest boy… and I’m getting brunch out of the deal. Okay, so I’m walking a few blocks and having brunch with the sock goddess and hopefully another knitter friend. Either way, I’m stoked about eating out.
I should go to bed.
Better than last weekend when I pretty much just kept myself hydrated and slept.
Saturday I made a roast, salad, potatoes and pineapple upside-down cake for lunch. The in laws came for lunch… no way I’m that organized and good for a lunch on the weekend… snort!
Children were spoiled rotten, as per usual.
I went off to a local yarn store after they left in the afternoon meh…
Went to favourite second hand store with yarn corner…
Organic store provided me with the avocados…

Today husband picked up a few knitting books from the library for me.

Time to check on midsized boy… went to the emerge with him. Gee, when we can’t even triage within 90 minutes… I’m out of there. He was feeling better and the gal beside me, there since noon. Triaged at 4 pm. Kid looked like death warmed over bye bye! I’ll be back if he gets worse. He was having abdominal pain and a fever. Localized right quadrant abdomen… can we say appendix? Any hoo. The fever went down, abdomen not distended, he can walk without pain… and he kept asking to go home to bed. Who am I to argue. Will take him straight away tomorrow if he has any more issues. So far he is looking pretty good.
That is the question.
I have no urge to cook, in fact most of our main ingredients for the purpose of cooking are still at the store. Yeah, shopping night for sure!
Husband will grace us with his presence sometime tonight… I hope. Yes, it was not too cold this morning. drat. On the plus side (?) biggest boy was up most of the night coughing … so he stayed home for the day. Thankfully too. Today was ‘dress up as your favourite book character. Biggest boy wanted to be Captain underpants.

Tomorrow is pj’s and your favourite stuffed animal day. The local mla will be reading stories in his classroom tomorrow. I wish I could show up for that one! snort. We shall see how his night goes.
I’m still feeling edgy and a little off kilter. I renewed the effort to get a hold of the doctor who was supposed to be working with birth trauma patients.

Right, forgot about that. After the summer holiday excuse that they never phoned back (2006). This was what I got from the e-mail account through the faculty. Totally forgot about that. I’m amazed they still have her listed on the faculty at all.
